Women’s U.S. Open returns to Blackwolf Run in Kohler, WI – 75 minutes from Angel Inn

The Women’s U.S. Open returns to Blackwolf Run July 2-8, 2012 in Kohler, Wisconsin. The last time the Women’s U.S. Open was played there in 1998 – rookie Se Re Pak survived to win a 20 hole play-off.  My most vivid memory of that event was Nancy Lopez and her playing partners walking up the 18th fairway at the end of their 2nd round waving white flags on the end of their clubs as they all missed the cut at the  very difficult lay-out.  Kohler is an easy 75 minute drive from  Angel Inn in Green Lake, Wisconsin.  So if your destination is Kohler during that 4th of July week, and you are looking for lodging at the Women’s U.S. Open check us out!  http://www.usga.org/ChampEventSite.aspx?id=2147487117
